Decorate your own mini bee

An integral part of the Buzz in the City art trail will be our Learning and Community Programme, where mini bees designed by schools, youth groups and community groups like you, will become part of the swarm, displayed around Chelmsford for everyone to admire and enjoy.

Your mini bee will be yours to design, decorate and name, so it will be completely unique to you. After the trail it will be yours to keep as a lasting memory of your involvement in this high-profile art event.

How it works

Your mini bee will be yours to design, decorate and name, so it will be completely unique to you. After the trail it will be yours to keep as a lasting memory of your involvement in this high-profile art event.

We only have a small number of mini bees available so we encourage you to register your interest as early as possible for this unique opportunity. The deadline to adopt a mini bee is Friday, 28 February 2025.
