Farleigh Hospice is a charity that provides palliative and end of life care and bereavement support to the people of mid Essex.
At any one time, our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, counsellors and therapists attend to the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of over 650 patients. This can be in the comfort of their own home environment or in our hospice in Chelmsford. We also offer support through our counselling services to bereaved families, and work with children to help them understand their feelings and prepare them for when someone they love dies.
All of our care is provided completely free of charge to everyone who needs us. We can only do this thanks to the kind support of our local community, who help fund our care through donations, gifts in wills and money raised from fundraising events like the Buzz in the City Art Trail.
