Buzz in the City is Chelmsford’s first sculpture art trail and is expected to bring thousands of people into the city to see the bees.

There are fantastic opportunities for you to be part of this exciting, new high-profile event which encourages people to go out, discover the bees and become more interested in art and nature.
Bee part of the art
We are looking for artists and schools, clubs, care homes and community groups to design and decorate our giant and mini bee sculptures and also businesses to sponsor them.
Your details will be on the printed art trail map, mobile app and this website, helping you to reach new audiences while showing your support for Farleigh Hospice – the local hospice charity.
Buy a bee
When the art trail closes, you can buy one of the giant bees! They will be auctioned off to raise much-needed funds for Farleigh Hospice.
The mini bees will be returned to the schools, clubs, care homes and community groups who designed and decorated them.
